Patrick moved to Glasgow from Inverness in 1997 to study History at the University of Strathclyde.  After spending a few years living and working in Africa and London, he returned to Glasgow in 2007 and currently works as a policy officer in the Scottish Parliament.

Since joining the SNP at the age of 17, Patrick has held a variety of posts including National Secretary of the Federation of Student Nationalists, and was recently elected Convenor of Glasgow Kelvin SNP Constituency Association.

When not campaigning for Scotland's Independence, Patrick enjoys swimming, hill walking, reading and music.
